I'm anticipating clearing the 200K mark...could be a while, but that's no problem. Just gotta keep it maintained, like you said (been quite prompt with oil changes and such).

Have the plugs been changed on your's?

Changed the plugs at 110k, and im working on change all the cop soon. Oil changes are every three thousand miles if not less, Only reason i change it early is because these motors are sensitive to oil, and its usually if im going to the drag strip or not.

I think the only sensitivity these cars have to oil, is having enough to maintain good oil pressure. There are too many people that let the oil level go low and start loosing pressure, resulting in damaged bearings.

My 97 has over 175k miles and still runs great. It gets fresh Mobil 1 about every 7k miles, and I'm certainly not nice to it.

Nice... I wish mine was back at 120k!

It was about 23k later that I first sprayed mine. Now it's pretty happy at the 100 shot and 145k. Woot woot!

Mines rolling over 136k, with 89k on the motor. Keep the oil level up, and make sure you use the correct amount. If you don't you WILL scatter rod bearings. Ask me how I know. :/
