Hi Guys,
Recently I have noticed that on my trip to and from work if I get caught in a lot of stop and go traffic my fuel pressure will start to rise. When I first start driving around in the morning my car idles at 30 psi and goes to 40 psi when I try to accelerate. After I have been in traffic the fuel pressure goes to 40 psi at idle and stays there when I accelerate. When I floor it the pressure goes up to 60 psi as it should (car is blown) Is this just a quirk of the returnless fuel system, or is my fuel pressure sensor going bad? The car isnt throwing any codes (I checked with my predator) Could it just be a problem with the fuel pressure gauge? Or is this just perfectly normal?
Thanks,
