so i got my rear main seal today but what the heck is the plastic clear ring for that came with it? do i use ot or toss it?

i could be off but i think thats just to help it keep its shape during shipping and shelf life.

Installation sleeve. You use it to get the sleeve started on the crank, and then tap it home after removing it.

I use a 4" PVC cap as an install tool

thanxs ...i thought so its beveled on the motor side..how am i gonna pull it out it its bigger than the seal on that side

Actuallly, I think it might be just a shipping insert. Its been 2 years so I'm a little fuzzy
