I Can't Drive 65! | NBC Washington please add your comments

oh, and another rant for today: I was making a right turn on a busy intersection and stopped to wait for a young lady to finish crossing. Well, she was on her cell phone and sauntering - I mean really moseying. Must have been a great conversation - totally off the hook! So I bipped my horn and motioned her onwards (okay, so I gave her a fatherly stare). She slowed down, gave me a dirty look and whipped her sweatshirt against my car.

Thanks for "listening."

I think driving too slow is just as dangerous as driving too fast. If its on a highway or something and are on the right side minding their own business i really dont think theres a problem afteral lthats what its for but this tool just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. Just lookin at him i can tell hes a douche driving too slow because hes got nothing better to do and now all the sudden gets his 15 mins of fame because he got busted for it. Im not saying drive 20 miles over the speed limit but atleast keep up with traffic. Obviously he wasnt if he was picked out of the other drivers.

Also that story reminds me of this video i came across that kinda made me chuckle. Check it out.

I've tried to tell people you can get ticketed for going to slow, and they don't believe me. Not only is it 1 of the first things police look at when looking for drunk drivers, but as stated above, it's dangerous. If you're in the right lane, people expect you to be doing a minimum of the posted limit. They take that into account when accelerating, getting on and off ramps, etc... It's not safer going below the speed limit.

Well I wouldn't have run her over, but I probably would have revved it and moved forward a little to scare her. If she was too close I would have just honked my horn and ruined her phone conversation

I get aggravated with nit wits not paying attention to the world around them because they are on a cell phone, either as a driver or pedestrian.

Running her over? When those thoughts cross my mind I try to visualize myself standing in a court room explaining to the judge why I thought my action was justifiable. If I can't think of the words that would put the judge on my side of the issue, I usually obstain from the action.

Yes, your bumper would've gotten scratched.
