rocker panel

i just bought a rocker panel from npd,for my 67 fastback, there is an L bracket that came with it with a slotted hole on one end of the L and two slotted holes on the other side of the L bracket, anyone knows where this bracket gos.
i looked under the car and i dont see any type of bracket or bolts for it.

It could be for the lower front fender bolt.
