Rocking Seat

My drivers side seat rocks forward and back under acceleration..
anyone else have this problem?

Mine doesn't really "rock", but more like sliding forwards and backwards just a *tiny* bit. Kind of annoying at times.

Nuts are backing off , I think its a 15 mm combo wrench , tighten them bad boys up and you will be fine , mines backed off twice since i have had the car , if it does it again im going to put some blue loctite on them suckers . LOL

I had a 90 GT which got the 'rocking chair' affect. The brackets actually broke, I had to get out the welder...

check to see if the floor bolts are tight

Is it a power seat? I think it is the slop in the worm gear for the forward and back adjustment. I replace the seat and a manual track and the problem went away.

That's probably what mine is. Taking the power unit out would probably save a couple pounds, but I like the fore/aft fine tuning and front/back tilt adjustment.
