If you are not looking to have a certified roll bar then you can have a custom 4 point bent that would allow maximum access and safety for the rear seat. You could also have a pin-out style center bar (harness) bar so that it could be removed when you like. I think the best bet is a custom bent roll bar, by a chassis fabricator.
It wont be that much money since it is a 4-point.
My six=point is all welded bars(no pin-outs) and it is designed for NHRA specs. I can fit in the back but not sure you want a harness bar in your kids' faces. So make it removable.

Yeah, thanks for replying to the other thread. Even as a 4 pt though, your design would hinder rear seat access , hence your suggestion to go custom.........but I was hoping some smart aftermarket guy would have a standard product. I like the bars that attach in the rear. Looks like the perfect design would use the mounting point the light bar uses (inside that trim piece) and the rear mount yours has.
Except a rollbar, whether it is 4 or 6 point needs to have the main hoop anchored to the chassis and not where the lightbar attaches. This is what will provide protection. So my thoughts are the rear braces could be bent like an "s" to make the rear seat more accessible.
Since you arent talking NHRA you can be creative with the braces.
Sure the harness bar can be bent back. Mine is curved back about and inch and a half.
That wont help the accessability to rear seat. If you make a removable harness (not NHRA legal) bar the kids could get in under the hoop, or if you step the rear braces they could easily step over them.
