Roll Pin
Yes, the clamp will keep the control valve in place, but it is no problem to fix it right.
As stated before, the roll pin is very hard and cannot be easily drilled out. You can use a carbide end mill, but that is too much trouble.
Just use a 1/8" drill bit and drill a new hole 1/4" deep into the centerlink. Just keep it in line with the existing hole, and drill it inward on the centerlink a little ways. The centerlink is much easier to drill than the roll pin.
