99 is for sure a Windsor, I don't know about 2000, though 2001 and up is definetly a Romeo.

Yours is definetly a Romeo.

Look at the valve covers. Romeo has 11 studs and the Windsor has 13.

Do as search if you really care. This has been discussed 1e+06 times. The short answer is it doesn't really matter.

Actually it does matter! Especially if you're contemplating on purchasing a lightweight flywheel. Windsor build have 8 bolt crankshafts,.....Romeo 6. Now what's better? You decide. The cobra has 8 bolt cranks.

I'm not lazy and have performed a search, however the original question was how do you tell the difference between a Windsor and a Romeo,.......is there any markings or identification numbers that would help with the differentiation.

Thanks,...for the help

The Cobra has a forged crankshaft, the 5 speed Mach does too. Now what's better? You decide. 2 extra bolts or a forged crankshaft
