Hey guys, I have an 89 notch, The moulding that runs along the roof to the quarter windows, I took mine off and there were a couple little clips in there plus weather stripping adhesive. I seen some people say there are no clips for them. I just redid mine with trim paint, I looked for the clips but donot see anything listed for clips for those mouldings, Do new mouldings come with clips? , When i reinstall mine do i just use the adhesive?

My new ones I got from 50resto had clips. The original ones had an adhesive that had liquified and even drooled out some. Its hard to remember, but I don't think my new ones had any adhesive. If they didn't I probably ran just a small bead of adhesive silicone, but not very much behind them. Sorry I'm not 100% sure, It has been about 3 yrs now. FYI: the shipping was about $30 for them due to special packaging to ensure they don't get bent.

If you need any clips, I have two pairs of old moldings in my shed that have the clips still on them. Seems like there was like maybe 6 per side?? Doesn't take much as long as they bite into it and use a little silicone adhesive. Its amazing what a little trim paint will do. I redid some from the jy, but then they got too brittle and chipped at the point where it curves.
