I am going to put my 65 fastback on a rotisserie soon. The shell has the doors, windows and front suspension still inplace. Any suggestions on how to balance the car on the rotisserie? Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks Bill

The center of balance is very close to the center of the gas cap so set the rotating head there and you should be close .The suspension still in the car and the doors and glass with throw it off until it is removed .

I couldn't find a good pic of my 66 on the rotisserie that showed the balance point but my 69 is in the same balance point .All the fastbacks balance in the same place .It is actually about the bottom of the gas cap.

Jim thanks for the reply. I wanted to keep the doors, glass and suspension on so I could get at the bottom for stripping and painting. I will move forward with caution. Bill

I t may balance out leaving the glass and the front suspension in ,unless the rear end is still in .Just be careful the first time you turn it over .

By the way , if you do leave the rear end in ,you will get gear oil all over everything when you turn it over

Jim the differential is out. That would be a mess if it was left in. CJ Pony parts shows one of there cars with doors and front suspension in there rotisserie video. I plan on putting some blocking under the car just is case. Love the hood your building. Bill
