Had a set of Flowtech Headers installed about a week ago and been doing some driving around. The car will idle at about 600-700rpm for a short while then jump to about a 1000 and then settle down back to 600 for a short while and so on. Also when the engine is cold every time i come to a complete stop the idle will drop to about 400 rpm then just when u think it's gonna stall it jumps back up. Does this have anything to do with these cars needing a tune after mods or is my car just hooped.

Current mods: CAI,75mm TB, plenum, LT's, O/R H and mufflers.

FOXCOUPE:

Yes, tuning is required in this case. The O2 sensors take a little longer to warm up with LTs and this can be addressed in a tune.

HTH,

Chris
