The convertibles need them (a version of an X connector) Corvettes too
I've done the TSB's to them and the Aerostar
If they were a good Idea Ford would be using them now

factory stuff is a compromise, look at the aluminum piece that was riveted below the door on the convertible and the weeny brace between the frame rail and the K member that was added for 'bracing', (don't tell me about the convertible being done by a outside builder, I know about them)
Anything the car manufacturers do is a compromise with economy and fuel mileage the main consideration.
Why are we try'n to convince one person that subframe connectors are a good thing? I'm all in for a good debate but I don't see convincing manic about SFC.
That don't make him a bad guy, it just means he is as hard headed as I am

I mean he’s not wrong in the sense that if I were spending $100k on a barret jackson 93 cobra, I sure as hell wouldn’t want to see subframe connectors on the car.

Even at the $20k+ collector quality level I wouldn’t want them.

Now….modified car? Have at it. I plan on sticking them on my car. If I want decent ride quality I drive my daily.
