Hey everyone, i'm thinking about buying the ROUSH cold air intake (part number 402099) for my 08 mustang GT. My question is do i HAVE to tune my computer in order to use it? can i use it and be safe without a tune? ROUSHPERFORMANCE.com doesn't say that you have to have a tune in order to use it but i still worry. I just want to know if i can use this CAI without a tune and not have the check engine light come on the dash. -Thanks for your help everyone.

No tune is needed, I had mine in for about a year before I put the supercharger on. There is an insert inside the CAI that restricts the airflow enough to not need a tune. If you take the insert out then you need to tune the car. I still have mine if you are interested. PM me if you want.
