Roush Louvers installed

Bought these through a friends shop and they painted them. almost exact as exact can be.

Those were the louvers I was going to go with until I saw the SHR flush mounts.

I liked the flush mounts too,such a clean installed look,
but i wanted the more "solid" look. The cervini's were my other favorite but the more i looked at the roush the more i liked them.. "vented look".

Trying to decide if i want to spend the money on the Roush wing now??

Because if i do that then i will need the Roush front fascia, and then i will need the rear w/exhaust and then the roush charger. And frankly i will have peiced together a stage 3 one paycheck at a time.

Cause you all migth know...If you Give a mouse a cookie...he is gonna want a glass of milk...

Unless your goal is a Roush look-a-like, don't feel pressed to put all roush on the car. IMO, as long as you stay away from pieces that have the name badged like the roush rear bumper, shelby brand grill or lettering like shelby for the rear deck lid, then mix and match to get exactly what you want. I haven't completed my car yet but I do have the Cobra GT 500 rear bumper and spoiler but then I put SHR louvers in the qtrs and I'm adding a cervini nose and hood on the car. It makes it unique and your own without copying a single mfg style.

I am leaning towards the roush wing though, i do like it. Slightly larger than the GT 500. I can get roush stuff at cost through my friends shop. So it isn't so bad and he can paint most of it for fraction of the cost of most places.

He had my louvers painted for $60

DAmn well if you can get it at cost and painted cheap BY ALL Means go that route ! Spend less time working on her and more time driving her ! The louvers look great ! Im partial to the SHR flush mount but none the less for a cheap price and painted I would give in !
