RP Syncromax in TR3650

Hey, sorry if this is posted before. I did a search but could not find anything. I am thinking of replacing my manual tranny fluid with Royal Purple Syncromax.

Royal Purple Manual Transmission Fluid

Does this sound like a good idea? I am doing it because I installed a Hurst Shifter and I am now pretty hard on the tranny. Plus it sounds like an easy thing to do, and I am curious if there will be any difference. But I will not do it if the syncromax will hurt the tranny. I cant find any info as the wether it is good or bad for the 3650.

Tranny

I have RP Syncromesh & an MGW shifter in my '06 GT. Very smooth shifting. I don't think you can go wrong. I won't use their engine oil, but I like the Syncromesh.

whats wrong with the RP engine oil? I was going to change that today, but the oil that is in there is still brown (not black), so I figure I should wait a while. I bought the car used and I have not changed the oil yet, and I have no idea what oil was put in before, or when. But when I do change the oil I was going to go for Royal Purple. I guess there marketing has worked on me...

I use the Syncromax and their motor oil. There's nothing wrong with the motor oil. It's among the very best out there.

What's everyone's take on warranty issues if you use the RP? (I know it was briefly discussed in another thread).

After reading all the stories of transmission warranties being denied due to aftermarket shifters installed (I briefly had a Hurst and now have a MGW) I'm paranoid about making any mods to the transmission.

I've used synthetics in my previous Mustangs with good results though, and would like easier shifting (especially into reverse) when cold...

I am using Redline High Temp ATF in my 3650. I have zero shifting problems in cold or hot weather and it is a Mercon ATF.
