It doesn't matter. Fear of the gear is grounds for immediate expulsion from the Mustang society.

Whats the top speed with the 3.73s?I basically mean, is 5th used for top speed or is it still too high geared?I plan on going S/C, so I want plent of top end. 4.10s just limit me too much.

I never, ever want to shift into OD at WOT, like at the track.

3.73 will put you at 112@5500 in 3rd(auto) 4th (Stick)

I think the first question was : What RPM in 5th gear so yes different tranny will show a slight different RPM.

You are right in 4th gear they all are 1 to 1 , same for the T-56 ( 6 speed ).

Good point, but would would want to shift into OD at the track???

That was my point, sorry for the confusion.

3.73 = 168
5 speed
4.10 = 152

3.73 = 160
Auto
4.10 = 146

at 5500 RPM'S

my top speed didn't change a bit with 3.73 still 240 kph/150 mph but the 5 is still a bit to long but better than before. that's to bad they don't put the t-56 in gt the 5 probleme would be sovle. By the way 4,10 is still over 150 MPH on top speed in fifth.

??? how do you get files or image over here i got a pdf or excel files with all rpm with 3.27 3.73 and 4.10 ratio so it is easy to see..it's in km/h but nothing you couldn't fix with excel

there is a 5mph difference between the T45 and T3650 in regards to where you would be at.

For example with one you might be at 70mph while at the other you would be at 75mph.

T-45 uses a .067 5th

T-3650 uses a .062 5th

Guess the webmaster thought they where the same ratio...........
