I have a 1995 mustang gt. I did an 1992 mustang engine swap, put a 93 cobra cam in, gt40 intake, replaced all internals with new stock internals, and replaced all gaskets but lower intake gaskets. Got it in and it ran finally, then first drive it runs rough and doesnt keep throttle. So found out the lower intake gaskets were junk so I bought a set and put them on and got the car together. When I turn my car on and it idles my rpm gauge stays at zero. Never had problems with the rpm gauge before. My speedometer is off 10 mph but that's all with the cluster. And ideas? Also anither problem, when I give it throttle, the engine bogs down and wants to die. When I let up it idles again. In this process the rpm gauge hardly moves just slightly rumps for a second. I'm going to read my TPS sensor and see what its reading. Other then that I'm not sure why it would die. I havent had any problems starting it. And ideas?
