RTV sealant for short shifters

do i really need to apply this when i install my pro 5.0? or can i just bolt it back in and be okay?

i would say that you could, but it would be better safe than sorry...
so just do it and be worry-free...

DOnt think about not putting the sealant on. that sealant is what keep all the dust and crap out of the inside of your transmition. Not a chance you want to take.

yeh, i got mine at advance auto, im sure walmart may even carry it...i used red just so you know

there is a fellow that sells gaskest for some of the short shifters, not sure if pro5 is one of em.
