my freind just got a 69 mustang with a 351 in it msd blaster coil and distributor he has major issues on the wiring in the car but the car ran good untill recent, he had a problem with the battery going dead i found the horn on all the time so i fixed that but now the car start and runs and starts to die and shuts down, i checked for fuel plenty what i see different is that i dont get 12 volts constant on the positive side of the coil, so i went and made a wire ran it to the battery and to the postive side removed the wire that goes to the starter selanoid that is also hooked up to the coil i desconnect it and started the car with no problems runs and does not shut down only when i remove the jumper wire, he just replaced the ignition switch and still the same problem you guys have any ideas? does sound like a wire is not hooked up correctly or in bad condition? or something else, let me no thats
