Hey

I probably have about 20k on the odo, and recently the stang really feels like it's slower than usual. I thought maybe it was me, but the feeling is coming up pretty consistant. I feel like I'm driving around 3 passengers all the time. Nothing else is wrong though, just that "feel".

Can somebody tell me the little things I can check and how to do it? Like the MAF maybe, or the plugs, but I'm not really sure exactly what to check, first time I've ever had a problem like this on any car really. I guess I'm young and have good luck

Basic tune up items may help.

Also, resetting the PCM sometimes really seems to help my car when it has various problems such as rough idle or decreased performance.

I guess it is the IT guy in me that always suggests "rebooting" the PCM

Hmm do I just disconnect the negative terminal to do that? I also have a SCT mail order tune, don't know if that changes effectiveness of a reset.

Yes just disconnect the battery, your custom tune will NOT be lost by doing this

Haha I figured, I was just wondering how much of a grip the tune had on the PCM and if a reset would mean anything anymore. But I'll get on that now

You're the only one replying to my threads, I might as well just call you to save time
