my left rear sags about an inch lower than the right. i just put new stock heavy duty springs by moog. And also put new monroe sesatracs. i thought the shock was defective so i brought it back and put a new one. same result. anyone have any ideas? the springs are the same for the left and right.
thanks

have you tried spinning the spring. maybe the pigtail is in the wrong location.

could be twisted unibody (doubtful but possible) or bent or broken control arm(s).

welcome to the world of mustang sag. My brother and I bought a pair of mm height jackers hoping to adjust it out. No luck. Jack up one side, the other goes up. Best of luck figuring it out, I've heard of few people ever actually fixing this. If you do figure it out, PLEASE let us know what you did.

Very common problem. Mine has the same thing going on. Accept the fact that you wont fix it completely. My plan is to jack it in the other direction beyond level and weld in subs. Mine is leaning the same direction about 3/4". I have changed springs and shocks and it didnt help at all. That was not my goal. I dont really care about it, but will try to level it out some. I will make sure the doors still open and shut properly before welding. I have never heard of anyone fixing this problem. I read a webpage dedicated to it once and the guy changed everything. A whole new suspension didnt put a dent in the symptom. My bet is also a twisted unibody. Mine twisted the stock drive shaft on a stock engine.

its call "fox body lean" i have it too. the only way to fix it , well make it look better is to buy lower control arms with the adjustable spring perch...

That's actually not true. My brothers Notch has the lean, and we thought the exact same thing, so we installed a pair of MM height adjustable rear control arms. no way, no hell are you gonna adjust one side higher to fix that, jack up the right side, it effects the left side and vice versa. the integrety of the unibody still works against you.

Maybe someday we'll get his car on the frame shop just to have it properly diagnosed. Perhaps the only fix could be frame work.
