Saggy Rear End

So I noticed the other day that the back end of my car was sitting lower than the front end. I talked to a friend and he said to get coil overs for the rear but I'm not sure if I wanna go that route. I was thinking of just getting lowering springs for all 4 corners. What would be the best route to go?

what are you trying to accompish? You can just get a set of replacement shocks with new isolators if you want to get rid of the sag.

The maximum motorsport or j&m adjustable control arms will kill 2 birds with one stone. Gives the ability to level out, amd gives a better performing control arm.

Check to make sure one, or both of your rear springs isn't broken.

I was gonna go with replacement shocks but a guy who did some work on this said to get coil overs for it to level it back out and then I read else where to get lowering springs on all 4 corners.

my bad,, I meant springs not shocks. IMO you do not want rear coilovers as they place all of the load for the springs on a small brakcet vs. on top of the control arm. I would check for sagging or broken springs and if you want to lower the car get a set of H&R or Steeda springs and Max Motorsports rear control arms.. you will need to replace all 4 springs and not just the rear. Might as well do the struts, shocks, sway bar and end links while you have it all apart. Expect to pay around $1000 when all is said and done for parts.

Coilovers are nice, pricey, but nice. Go to Maximum Motorsports for their lower support bracket http://www.maximummotorsports.com/1979-04-Mustang-Lower-Shock-Mount-use-with-Coil-Over-kit-P610.aspx.

That'll take car of the flimsy OE ones.

I'm all about coilovers though, if you have the money.
