If it is an Eaton M90 supercharger, I have been told that it is not neccesary by several differant sources. It is a sealed unit, and internally lubricated for the life of the unit. I know that is hard to swallow, but I think this is what you will find out.

Series IV has a Saleen recommended service interval of 50,000 miles on the lube oil.

I had to add some after the install due to some leakage during shipping.

Not sure what Saleen recommends on that though I did find this info from the SC T-bird forum and something from the Eaton website (nothing that specifically says change the fluid at XXXX miles).

Fluid is typically distrbuted by Nye who packages many different fluids for use in compressor/blower systems. GM Fluid is cheaper than Ford, which is probably cheaper than Saleen.

The part# is 12345982 OIL-SUPER 8.800.
Price is $6.58 + tax in California. Hope this helps.

GM Supercharger Oil P/N: 12345982

GM oil contains Fatty acids, c5-10, esters with dipentaery thritol,
Phosphoric acid, phenyl diphenyl ester.

Ford Synthetic Supercharger Fluid P/N: E9SZ-19577-A

Ford fluid contains Butylated Triphenyl Phosphate and PentaeryThriTol Ester.

Both come in 4 oz plastic bottles.
They are different compounds but compatible.

Now, the Nye data sheet does show the correct Ford part#. From my service manual...
Quote:
The supercharger has a self-contained oiling system that does not require a fluid change for the life of the vehicle. However, at every 30,000 mile interval, the supercharger fluid level should be checked. The vehicle should be parked on a level surface, the engine cool, and not running. To check the oil, remove the Allen head plug located at the front of the supercharger. The oil level should be at the bottom of the fill plug threads when cold. If the fluid level is low, add a Synthetic Supercharger Fluid E9SZ-19577-A (ESE-M99C115-A), or equivalent.
