No, you really don't.
They are extremely light, but they are also extremely fragile.
They don't fetch that much money anymore on ebay, like $600-$800.
You can also find them on other cars, since american racing also sold them to the the general public, not just to saleen.

I had a set, they just dent way to easy, and god forbid you get too close to the curb, curb rash would be a pleasure compared to what happens to them.

I prefer the Stern 1-peice and 3-peice wheels more

Then there was this ugly wheel

Man there's a dude local who has a set of Sterns on a old beat up GT...i don't know if he knows what he's rolling on or what they're worth but they're dirty as hell and the car looks beat. It makes me sick seeing those wheels like that.

Yup, you gotta pay the price to have those. I found these on craigslist:

I got all excited about maybe flipping them for a quick buck. I received an answer as to how much, and he wants $1,400. Damn. So much for that.

Most guys who have those wheels know their value

The 4-lug versions are even pricier

They are probably the only 4 lug 5 star style rims that looks right.

Nope, they are real

Saleen got stern to crank out a few sets of 4-lug Stern 1-peices so they could sell them under Saleens name to the mainstream Mustang crowd back in the days when Fox Saleens were new.

Today, they are rare and in demand. $600 is a steal for those wheels

Do you have any other shots of the black Fox? If i ever get around to a 5 lug swap i pretty much know i'd opt for those Cobras or some ROH's. I'd have to say the Cobras are one of those wheels that just looks like it should've come on the Fox to begin with.

WOW. I oen a black notch, and I'm considering this now. That looks incredible. The only thing is, the Saleen wing is too much, but wingless isn't enough, what should go in its place?

If you must use a wing, get an aluminum drag wing..
