Usually you get killed on any trade in no matter what kind of car you have. Most dealers give you less than wholesale for your car and charge you retail for the new car

If you really want an 05 Saleen and want to get rid of yours, sell your's on the side don't trade it in "us" dealers will not give you anything more than a GT price and a plus for mileage. That is all.

Personally I don't buy first year cars.

Also, what is the deal with how many Saleens they are going to make in '05? The dealer by me has N/A cars in the 500's and the S/C are just shipping, and I haven't seen any converts yet. What are they going to make, like 2500 this year? If this is the case, I would wait and get a GT500.

You will lose your shirt and will be driving a lesser car IMHO. I have heard nothing but issues concerning the 05's. If anything I would wait for an 06 if you really like the new body style...
