actually he is stating a known problem and it does seem to be "normal" with a certain type of saleen replicas. I know MANY stangers that have to put electrical tape around the hub/studs and then put the wheel back on to stop the vibration around a certain speed. I've been following this because I have a set of gunmetal saleen replicas from OE Wheels.
So try the electrical tape. Quite a few people on Modular Depot have done it to fix there vibration problem with the replicas
I had a set of Y2K from OE wheel and it felt funny between 50-75mph, had the wheels balanced 3 times at different places and still the same, sold the wheels and the kid said he had no issues at all
I have that problem too with my stock rims which I didnt orignally have. Find a place that does high speed balancing. Its where the balance the wheel on the car so its balanced to the car itself.
2001 Geeee T Good post, i've never heard of this high speed balancing. maybe thats why some people see the vibration and others do not, cuz some people just happen to have their car at a shop that does high speed balancing.
