Nice #'s, Tim and Modular Powerhouse are definitely building on there reputation they already have. You will not leave disappointed. Got a guy I know who just took his Mach 1 there this past week and he's getting twin turbo's on it.

Yeah, that's him, he's got a sweet Mach 1 with some loud a$# SLP exhaust mods done to it. I need to go over there and get into the forums some more, been hanging when I get a chance on pretty much one particular site. I also am the only Saleen owner on there, so as usual, I get the haters, which I try to look at it as flattery , but sometimes it kills me to keep my trap closed.

That's cool though, I've been dealing with Ed Clark for the tuning part on my red '97, after 2 1/2 years of shop after shop, he turned out some awesome number for what the car has. But I do want to get the red one to MPH or Steen Racing where Ed bases his "so-called" office/shop at. Now that it just sits in the garage, I have another one, that I love to death.

People didn't believe me when I told them it's pushing a little over 3lbs. of boost and dynoed 412rwhp. It's an 06 S281 S/C Saleen Coupe(?), hardtop. Anyways, never been a white car type of person, but the price on it and the sun angle hitting it just took me into fantasy land and before you know it, my wife was on my head and just wondering , have you looked at the price? Uhhh, not really(LOL).

Hey, I appreciate it! The boards or let's just say the main board that I could say something and my buddies(who are on the shy side of getting in the middle of something) would laugh at my comments, but these guys/gals would not crack a smile. www.Horsepowerjunkies.com was the main one, I had to get off the websites like that, you've got all sorts of cars on their, which I had no problem with, but if someone asked a question and I just made a statement or a suggestion, it was:Zip2: and dogged me all the time.

Recommendation from my wife and friends was common sense, just get off the website, they have their little click going on in the Raleigh area and I don't fit in with these people. Especially when I bought the 06, I told and posted the dyno #'s and they were saying , but I have nothing to prove, I know from talking with Carlos, Nathan Kordik, and Chuck Causey at Saleen that the cars finally were being underrated like Chevrolet has done for years.

It's hard to believe, but word has gotten out, the new Saleen/Lysholm twin-screw S/C is very efficient with the intercooler part of it, and the power it makes on a 3valve. After reading about them, speaking with Carlos, and before I got the '06 out of Marietta, Ga(Team Ford), they had dynoed a naturally aspirated Saleen, and the white '06 I have and had the dyno sheets on the dash for people to see what they made. Unbelievable. It's hard to believe it @ 3lbs. of boost, but in a nice way, believe it!

I'd love to do what you did with your saleen with the red one, but the Vortech has surprised me with no after/intercooler and a forged motor. It still has the stock 3.6 pulley on the S/C, but hopefully that will be taken care of soon. I got to take care of the weak links first, like the tranny, weakest link , then the rear end needs to be beefed up with some 31 spline axles, etc. and then throw the snow performance meth. kit I got for it, the 3.1X pulley and the 2.8 if I feel froggy and max her out at 18 lbs. of boost. I got the Vortech Race/Bypass blowoff valve to add also, just not enough time for everything.

One more thing, it's a damn shame when you have a real Saleen and nobody gives a rats $%@ that it is, now that's not even half the times, but I guess the 15-20% haters- "GT with a Body Kit" type people give the good comments a bad rap. Your sometimes better off around here(my hometown) to have a gt as one I know of right off the top of my head, throw some fake saleen stripes on it and bamm, you own a "SALEEN"? That's awesome . Dude makes me nervous, and my wife, like a stalker. His car is a 97 Gt 'Vert, automatic. It used to be ? redfire metallic, that's not the color, but he asked me one night with a bunch of friends hanging out what color was my car. I told him, thinking nothing of it, and I go by a local body shop, bamm, it's getting painted rio red, color of my car .
Then he throws on a '98 cobra hood, cobra front bumper, and some chrome 17" played out cobra r's. To top it off, about two weeks ago, he "USED" to have a tan top, but now he has a black top, yeap you guess it, like my color combo. Now i'm getting people saying they saw me here or there and "It only ran 14.5's with a S/C on it and a forged motor?" No, you big dope heads, that's #@#@%, the wannabe.
