Salvage or Repo Auction

Has anyone ever bought a car from a salvage or repo auction? If so where do I find one near me. I live in Southern IL (St Louis Area).

well i bought my 95 GT from a guy that had just boughten it from a auction about 100 miles away, anyways it was smashed in to the front of motor(luckly didnt hurt any alternator or motor at all. but i fixed everything the night after i bought it( Luckly had a guy in town that had just boughten all aftermarket parts for front end so i got everything cheap) ive had it since september been very reliable car to me so id say go for it if nothing is screwed up with motor (I did have to put radiator and fan in it not anything major though) Try to look for a vehicle that is hit in front but isnt terrible just my 2cents

i bought my old 2002, fixed her up, sold her for $15k, made a $5k profit, called it a day.


She ran a 13.9 @100mph with a CAI and offroad H pipe(she was an AUTOMATIC too!)
