Same old question. Whats the biggest wheel, tyre Torq Thrust II comination...

...i can fit to my 68 fastback. I understand that height is a contributing factor. But take a bog standard car, whats the widest wheel/tyre comination i could use.

I have 14 x 6" torq thrust II's but i want to fill out the wheel arches more. Can i use 17x8's or would 16x7 be better, or is it the tyre that determines it.

I have the 15X8's on my 69 and i think they are just the right size. personally i like 15's and 16's on classic stangs because they still keep the vintage look. here is a pic of my baby
