"Sammy Hagar had this car built for himself and we got to do all the paperwork at our office. It's a 1968 Mustang Replica made with a Dynacorn body and a Rousch Racing engine"

I can't believe he sold his Shelby for this car, I think he took a step backwards.

Here's some more info on Sammy's new ride... I think it is bitchen. He has done a lot of what I plan to do paint wise. Red with satin black... Lookin good!

The rear spoiler looks too Camaroish.

I got to see the car at the Woodward Dream Cruise last year. It was very nice.

I do agree....I didn't like the rear spoiler either.....but the rest of the car was nice.

he didn't actually sell the shelby for this car, he sold it because it was too much car for him to have to mess with all the time, way too maintenance instensive....plud he couldn't get anyone to ride with him in it. he bought this car to replace it afterwards because he wanted another mustang but something with more manners than the shelby had. at least that's what i took from the interview i saw where he was talking about selling the shelby

I saw the HOT ROD show on HD TV last year which featured his car. Very nice build.

The guy (Michael Anthony) that plays the bass guitar in Van Halen, or used to, took his wifes real Shelby to that same shop for a stock resto.

Looks? Looks like it DID come off a late 70's Camaro.
