im looking for someone to rebuild my motor. and a new mustang friend. i live in saskatoon and have a 88 mustang gt. i dont have much knowledge about motors but wanting to rent a garage work on some cars and have some fun!

i live in saskatoon, and have to rebuild my engine as well. although i do not have a garage i will be doing most of the work myself. I spun a bearing a few weeks ago. A friend of mine in regina and i are going to be putting the engine back together.

Anyway there should be a get together of saskatoon people. Boston pizza or something along the lines easy drinks and food.

Well im trying to sell it...but only till friday...if it doesn't sell by then ill fix it! We could go to the same rebuild place then it would be cheaper......

My Budget Rebuild was around $1400
That Included
.30 Bore on Block
Getting Crank Turned
Sizing Rods
Cam Bearings
ARP Rod Bolts
Speed Pro Pistons
Rod and Main Bearings
Oil Pump and Rod
Assembly lube
Gasket set

You could cut that price down buy not buying new pistons. You have forged ones now and with a good clean-up they'll be good for about 400-450 hp. It means no overbore but you can still rehone the cylinders. I know it's not the best way to rebuild a motor but it works and if done right will give another 200,000 km's of life to the engine.

havent been on here in a bit...so that $1400 is you doing all the labour... thought there would be a good shop that wasn't charging too much for engine rebuild...
