You might find that you have a higher RPM cut-out and a goofy idle with the plats. They don't conduct as well as annealed copper.

I generally wont use plats in applications not calling for them from the factory.

All that said, some folks on here have run plats and noted no difference.

Good luck.

+4's suck

The spark only travels to one electrode and the other 4 just block the air/fuel mixture from seeing the spark.

If you are going to run plats, stick to single electrodes. But i would run copper plugs anyway. 5.0's tend to run a little funny with platnium plugs. They are not a factory plug

Pssst....if you're doing a tune up, don't forget the fuel filter along with it. And you Cap and Rotor too if it's not already new.

Cap and rotor are always a good idea.

Dude autolites all the way, I tried a different set when I first rebuilt my engine and the engine ran horrible. Autolites seem to work the best out all the plugs I have tried.

haha your avatar SO reminds me of a home vid i have of two chicks (one's an ex) that look SO MUCH like the girls in your avatar, gettin it on! i wish i had the balls to put it on the net! i have 3 vids that'd get SO famous on the net, (which is why i can't do it).... kinda makes me mad, but i'm not a total *******. i could be a stangnet hero!!

i just found some pre-vid pics, but i don't think i'll post them. also i thought the one girl was a blonde, but i just saw she's not. anyways! it still gave me an excuse to go look at them again!!!
ryan218 would probably end up marrying his hand before he ever learns how to drive if i did post!!!! :fairyfight:
