Coming off 405 onto 26 west, a grey gsxr1000 goes by me about 100, and he keeps it railed on up thru the tunnel. About then I can hear the sirens behind me..... after I get up thru the tunnel the first cop finally goes by, then almost to the zoo exit the second one goes by...
A few seconds later they turned their lights off and pull over.

The bike was ggooooooooonnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I had to laugh....

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I just bought my first "crotch" rocket. A '92 Suzuki GSX750 Katana. It is VERY quick. Had it at 120 out on I-84 and there was plenty more to go. Got a little scared tough so I backed down to 75. Suzuki DOES kick a$$. Laters, Dan.

About a month and a half ago I was on break while in a college class I'm taking and watched this Gixxer blow by me, a cop on a BMW bike was following. Less than a minute later, I hear the bike coming back my way. Watched him blow through a red light and plow into the side of a car. Dead on impact. Hope I never have to see something like that again.

That was nasty.

I get scared going into triple-digits in a car, let alone on a bike with nothing but the wind separating you from the pavement. <shivers> Shoot, it just takes one tire to go out on ya for very bad things to happen.

Yup, I'm definitely an old fart. It's funny, once you have kids you suddenly become WELL aware of your own fragile mortality.
