I have a 355 sbc block and I want to build it and swap it into my 2000 Mustang GT. I am having trouble deciding what to do about motor mounts. The mounts on my 4.6 are at the middle of the block, and the 355's mounts are up front... Transdapt has universal crossmembers and mounts but I'm not sure if my k-member is far up enough. Another option is to weld my 4.6 mounts to the 355 and just bolt it up, but I don't want to add the stresses on the block that welding would produce... Also Lakewood has a bellhousing for a sbc/T-5. And the power steering is going to be an issue because it uses hydroboost so I can't just delete the power steering. Has anyone done this kind of swap or know anyone that has? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Were you posting this to get into some sorta fight? This should have been posted in Fightclub. lol why don't you just get a 351w and build that instead. Why put chevy power in a Mustang? It isn't right.
