i was wondering if there is an easy way or a kit to remove scaling on the pistons. The scaling is just from normal wear. Engine has about 100K on it. I have the heads off and was noticing it. I know changing the pistons are the best thing to do but money is tight and I really want to get my engine back together.

Would using green scotch pads be ok on the pistons?

I just didn't want to take to much metal off the pistons.
