I have yet another problem with the car I purchased...it has a richmond locker in the rear and 31 spline axles and while breaking in the engine the first few hundred miles, it seemed to be working fine. Tonight I was on my way to the track and when ever I turn right or jump on the gas a bit , the car wants to pull right and the left side wheel/axle makes a loud metal bang and it scares the **** out of me... Did I break the damn thing already I checked all the suspension parts and they are intact and tight. Anybody? All ideas welcome !!!

Yep. A lot of people dislike them for loudness/harshness reasons. To the OP, it sounds like it's working just like it's supposed to.

Really, If that is the case then I don't recommend a locker to anyone. I mean it is really loud and the car pulls to the right a good amount.

Well I can say that the experience I just had with a Richmond Locker was not one I ever want to again, all I must say is that the driveshaft spins and the rear doesn't. I guess tomorrow I will have to rip apart the rear and see what is all broke. What does anyone recommend, I have : 31 spline axles, and 373's I want posi and I was leaning toward an Eaton rear so far.
