I need to replace my shocks, what are some of the best ones to get. I would like to get some that will drop my ride about an inch if that is possible.

If it is shocks that you need to replace they do not determine what your ride height will be. You will need to get new springs if you want the car lowered a bit.

You have a lot of possibilities with shocks. Tokico, Bilstein, KYB, Koni, edelbrock etc...

Springs
BBK, FMS, Eibach etc...

good luck

Bilsteins are the best overall non adjustable shock.

I think the best overall deal is the Bullitt set up, you get a little less than an inch of drop with the Springs and the Struts and Shocks are Valved to match them and the price is about $400.

Highly recomended that you get springs and struts/ shocks of the same manufacture. companys typically tune their products to compliment each other...

So what about a person that has bilstein or koni struts and shocks? Neither of them make springs. I think you will find that the higher end companies specialize and stick to what they are good at: bilstein for shocks/struts, hypercoil for coilover springs, H&R for regular coil springs, etc.

Does the bullit setup even lower the fox cars? I have heard some bad things about the tolerances of that kit being way off.
