Has anybody used this kit? Or, what is a good eletric fan to use for a 289 with mild mods for a South Carolina summer. I plan for an AC unit soon as well. Car has 3 row standard radiator, Edelbrock water pump, fan clutch now.

I had the standard radiator, edelbrock hi volume pump, and flex fan. But I just installed the Old Air electric fan kit from NPD, sold especially for the classic stang. Other vendors sell it too for $250 to $285. It bolts right in using the four radiator attachment bolts. Has three wire hook up (for no AC) so it's simple. With AC you need a $20 harness they sell. I haven't turned the car on yet, it's almost done getting painted, but I sure like the set up so far, very clean and looks right. It's gotta pull more air than the mechanical fan so I think it will be fine.
its a nice looking fan and works well but just so expensive. We used them on a few of our customers cars but both of them were pretty much stock with intake and headers and a cam. The car ran cool though

KISS. Just get a Flex-A-Lite SS unit. It flattens out above 3000 rpm, it pulls air across the engine so flat and fast you need to shield the carb to set idle mix/speed.
