Sorry if it's been asked but anyone use or even see a real live version of the SCT Livewire? I see Stangmods.com is selling it so I'm assuming they're out but I go to http://www.sctlivewire.com and all I see are Photoshop renderings of the product!

After finding out that DiabloSport doesn't support the Steeda Charge Motion plates (a likely mod that I'll be doing along with a CAI and a TB spacer within the next 2 months) I decided to consider SCT.

So is this basically a suped up version of the Xcalibrator? Seems pretty nice. Any info would be appreciated.

Thx

I have one in my 07 GT right now. It's pretty cool but dont be fooled by the still shots in magazines or online. You cannot display real-time horsepower, torque,or air fuel ratios. You can test these numbers but cannot datalog them. Apparently they are not selectable options with a Mustang. Only certain cars can show these numbers. As for the screen clarity and its other real-time numbers. The datalogging feature is pretty cool and most of the numbers it gives you while monitoring your vehicles output are pretty close. The screen clarity is Ok, nothing special. Hard to see properly when driving with sunglasses on a bright day. Overall I recommend it because it does have many options and holds a bunch of tunes that are real easy to load and have selectable options. Hope this helps, Chris

Thanks for the info. Do you have a picture of it? I'd like to see the quality of the actual unit.
