Very true, with my 2005 and a couple bolt ons JDM in new jersey built me a custom 93 octane tune, just by me faxing a list of the mods along with my dyno sheet and A/F reading. I was able to hit a best of 12.6ET at the track on only 297rwhp. A custom tune is always best.
