I haven't gone to a dyno or anything, but from the feel of it - YES! I have no regrets whatsoever!

Nothing is better than a good tune. Especially when you start getting a good number of parts it really is nice to get a new tune and everything just seems to work that much better together.

If you are going to mod your car, and want to increase power, you NEED a tuner....period.

Any mod that will make any power will need a tune to go with it.

Even in stock form, the gains from a good high octane racing tune are quite good. And if you have an auto, you need a good tune even more. An auto with a good tune is as quick or quicker than a manual.

Make sure to get good quality tunes from someplace like Brenspeed, American Muscle, etc.

These cars are made to be modded, so a tuner should be your first purchase....

I got one last week

I got a SCT with tunes from Bama two weeks ago. The street tune completely eliminated the throttle lag and realy woke up my auto tranny stang. I almost ran over my mailbox when I hit the throttle after backing it out of the driveway and shifting into drive! My car is completely stock and the tune made a big difference. I'm going to fill up with 93 octain and try the race tune this weekend.

The first mod I did to my car was a tune, well actually the first mod was the Magnaflow Magnapacks, then the tune, I had a 93 octane race tune and it made a night and day difference, my 06 GT is an Auto and with just the 93 race tune I was chirping 2nd and 3rd gears, now I have the C&L Racer CAI and 410 gears with the 93 Race tune and my car is a hoot to drive, spinning hard into 2nd chirping hard into 3rd and 4th gears and sometimes it will chirp into 5th, definitely get a good tune from somewhere like AM or Brenspeed, you will not regret it!!

Tuner is good I got mine through American Muscle but later got a better tune through BBR. And let me tell you there tune blew the doors off the AM tune. The throttle response was alot better than anything I ever seen. If you would like to go through them pm me and I will give you the number and he will hook you up. I don't think there is another company out there that can match BBR. Brenspeed is good but gotta wait on there tunes, BBR will have it to you the same day

The guys over at SCT are awesome.

That is all there is to it. I have had a couple different tunes from then done while adding stuff. If something doesn't feel right from the tune, go to their website and shoot them a nice e-mail, and they will fix it within 36 hours.

I love their tunes. Good work, fast response timing, and great gains. No problems.

If your getting a tuner, SCT is definately a good way to go.
