I put seafoam in my car before i changed the oil today. I put half of it in the motor and the other half in the gas tank. No smoke came from my exhaust AT ALL.
I expected to see clouds of smoke like I saw on several youtube videos. What happened?
The only reason you put it in the oil is to break up and remove sludge that may have built up. You will not see smoke from this at all. As for putting it in your gas tank, doing that is just like adding some type of injector cleaner. If you want to see smoke, you will have to put it into your motor through a vacuum line.
