seafoam help

I put seafoam in my car before i changed the oil today. I put half of it in the motor and the other half in the gas tank. No smoke came from my exhaust AT ALL.

I expected to see clouds of smoke like I saw on several youtube videos. What happened?

I just got a few puffs from one of mine and nothing at all from the other. Both I fed it in through a vacuum line.

The only reason you put it in the oil is to break up and remove sludge that may have built up. You will not see smoke from this at all. As for putting it in your gas tank, doing that is just like adding some type of injector cleaner. If you want to see smoke, you will have to put it into your motor through a vacuum line.

I just did it to my 91, kinda screwed up (picked the wrong vac port), and only ended up getting half a bottle through it, still smoked though.
