Seafoam Vaccum line- which one, any pics?

I have been trying to figure out which vaccum line to suck up the seafoam with. I dont have my car right in front of me so does anyone have a pic of there engine and know which line to use??

Use the PCV valve. Stick a straw in it. It's on the passenger side valve cover, just below the intake. It's black and circular.

Ok so disconnect from the PCV and let the hose suck it in?

There's a hose that goes right into your passenger side valve cover. Unhook it and start your car. Then use that hose to slowly suck up the seafoam.

Ok so I did the seafoam , and I have to tell you; Wow! It really makes a difference. I know it seems crazy but I felt some difference in the response ,Im not doing it every 5k now. But I will for sure be using it in my Girls BMW its got 105k on it. IF you were unsure about it give it a try. I also cleaned out the IAC. Leveled my idle right, I used KT's method he suggested and it worked pretty good. Although at first there was a weird resonance coming from the little box on the vaccum line from the Intake pipe to the plenum, but its gone away. Anyways if you have a sh&!@# idle clean the IAC, if you have some miles try the seafoam. I was totally pleased with my results.

Thats good stuff. I didnt know you had to get the RPM's up to blow smoke. The bottle didnt say that. So when I went to the 711 to get some beer I blew a huge cloud of smoke on the cars behind me. It was pretty cool.

i got an idea...how about we make a seafoam thread so people dont make a thread every week about it...oh wait nevermind..

why the hell is the seafoam thread in talk anyway? noone can search for it AND it has a lot to do with tech...minus the ramblings that start on page 5 through to the end

no. If you dump half a can in your oil, perhaps its best to do a change not long after. Theres no reason to do an oil change after a regular Seafoam treatment.

I've seafoamed all my cars, my snowblower, and my boat.

You only have to change your oil if you put seafoam in your crank case!

It's in talk, because the majority of posts in that thread are people saying "Seafoam FTW!" or "I love this stuff!" .. that's fine a few times, but hundreds of posts like that in a tech thread just negate its usefulness.

Seafoam FTW! j/k

Anyway, I haven't put it in my crankcase. What would be benefits of that be? Just removing sludge? I doubt I have any sludge in my crank case at only 65k miles.

I put 1/2 can in the crankcase 100 miles prior to oil change.

The guys on SVTPerfomance told me I should change the oil after sucking it in the PCV because doing it would "contaminate" my crank oil. Not sure about that...

I have a small funnel that I use for this. It fits perfectly into the PCV hose. And I put a small metal plate between my throttle stop and the throttle lever to raise the idle just slightly.
