Is it the bolt that broke? Mine ripped out of the floor with the bolt intact. I just used 2 strips of steel, drilled a hole in 'em for the bolt, and used them to sandwich the ripped floor (one under and one on top) then bolted the seat down to the strips. Holding nice and tight for me... probably safer to weld it all up though.

u can replace it but probably much easier just to weld it up.

the last person that had my stang put a rectangular piece of billet aluminum with threads in the middle and it sandwiches the seat bracket and the aluminum between the frame, sucked when the threads stripped out, all of a sudden i heard a clunk and my seat had a gangsta lean and the seat would wobble front and back...

My left front seat mount ripped out as well. I put a piece of rectangular steel with a U-nut in the floor cavity and then bolted the seat down from the top as a termporary fix. If you had acess to thicker steel plate and a tap set you could just do that and skip the U-nut. But it's not something I'd want to drive around with permanently, especially now that mine seat is working it's way loose again.

When I have my subframe connectors installed I'm going to see if the guy can weld up the hole and maybe add undercar braces (the type that tie into the subs).

i just drilled a hole all the way through to the underside of the car and got a piece of sheet metal that would be strong enough to support my weigh and cut it a square out big enough to cover the hole. drilled a hole in it and bolted the seat all the way to the underside of the car. works like a charm
