Not sure what the fix is for this. Seats are out of an '86 Turbo Coupe, identical to 87-89 sport seats with the extendable knee supports. The driver's seat creaks like an old rocking chair when I move, go through the gears, breath...... It's definitely isolated to the upper left shoulder area. I plan on re-padding the driver's lower/thigh bolster sections and recovering both with gray tweed in the hopefully not too distance future. But in the meanwhile the noise is embarrasing and annoying.
Also, the seats don't require the lock to be lifted to lean forward. In extreme braking the passenger seat has rocked forward before. Any advice or common repairs for these issues? Here's a pic:
