Seat Mount Broken?

I noticed that the drivers seat was a little more moveable than should be so after investigating the front mounting bolt seems to not attached , just wondering how it is attached. i guess will find out tomorrow just thought i would see if anyone has any info..

mine broke also a while back....if its cracked like mine was you will have to weld it,if its stripped just put a new insert in

i have a feeling it is cracked and the bolt and stud is pulled out from the mount ....its always something.......thanks for the info couldnt really tell since it is under the carpet.

its basically a flanged nut welded to the front crossbeam. odd that everyones seems to be breaking all at one time, mine ripped loose last week. welder is the best way to fix it.

Yup, the riser on the floorpan is ripping. Best bet is to weld it as best you can, then put another channel over the top of it and weld that to the existing one.

That's the same issue I have right now and it's driving me nuts. Time to remove the seats and the carpet I guess and weld it back in. Fack!!

yep checked it out and the good news its not rusted, but it is busted, but the kicker was finding oil soaked padding from the oil guage that i had in the middle console. i tried to find new padding online but couldnt find it without ordering carpet.
