seat track setback

Hey all,
I am in the process of moving my seats back on my mustang and i also need to replace a couple of the studs while im at it. My question is how do you get the studs out? are they pressed in? or should i take a grider to em.

The studs are factory spot welded in. You can grind them out or try to wiggle the studs with vicegrips to break the weld.
I did see a web site that has a step by step instructions on how to get more leg room in early stangs but cant find it now.

i figured it out. used a cutoff wheel to cut the bolts off and just hit the little plates with the wheel jsut a bit and used a punch they all popped right out with the punch. i got the tracks competely apart and they are sparkling clean reasembled and ready to go now.
