1999GT 5sp, 4.10's, o/r H, catback, MT ET Street Radials
best previous time with everything except bald winter tires was
14.545@99.37 with a 2.226 60'

last night, my BEST time was as follows
60' 2.050
330 5.912
1/8 9.082@77.45
1000 11.805
1/4 14.086@99.09 THAT IS HORRIBLE, i couldnt launch worth **** with freaking nice DR's... best trap was in a race agains a STOCK srt-4,, here are our times. CLOSE RACE!!!!

*******ME*********SRT-4
R/T***.172********.145
60'***2.157*******2.155 <<< VERY close
330***6.028*******6.017
1/8***9.177*******9.138
MPH**78.32*******80.23......he had my by TWO MPH at the 1/8 but.....
1000**11.872*****11.825
1/4***14.131*****14.114
MPH**100.07*****99.63......i made up THREE MPH in the second 1/8th

WHO SAYS SRT's pull harder up high,,, lol

it was a freaking awesome race, he got me barely off the line, and 2nd i pulled ALMOST even, 3rd is supposed to be the srt's best gear by far, he BARELY pulled, and in fourth i was in the process of reeling him in when we crossed, damn, if it was a 1400 foot race i'd have had him...lol

any input on my horrible times or anythign else?

What did you launch at? That SRT-4 may have been an 03...stg 0. I think its the 4.10s...too much gear, and is probably hurting your 60ft. Either that or you didnt do a nice 8 second burnout lol.

Where were you shifting? How were you shifting (power, quickshift, etc)?

No lol, what RPM did you launch at? I was meaning that the 4.10s were hurting you out of the box by causing too much wheel spin.

I run 10.5-11.5 on MT ETs, no more than 13psi and a good burnout..60 will be 1.8x-.1.9 with 4.10s. Your MPH will go down a little but ET will go down too. Did you launch at 4000+?

They can, but they have to be tuned right, otherwise they will pull timing upto, dump fuel to run rich, and lose some steam..

Work on the launch.. You will be able to cut better 60's with those tires.

5 have an auto and just got the 4.10's in hoping to break 2.0 60's because with 3.27's I was running constant 2.1 2.2 60's on 315/35/17 street tires. at lik 25 psi I think I might lower it to 20 psi might help! best 1/4 mile was 14.0

not too be a dick .. but you know what is pissing me off. people posting about how they did at the track without the weather info.. not just "it was cool" we need a DA number

a DA number figures in the alt, humidity temp, and baro presure to give a density alt number. this is the only way too compare runs.

any post about times without a DA number is about as usefull as saying " i went too the track and ran somewhere between a 2.3@1239 MPH and a 19.9@ 30"

if you had a good da number then you ned too work on your shifting. the 2.0 60 ft with your mods should be somewhere around a 13.7 or so in decent air. are you spinning bad.. if not then you are goign too easy

But ALOT of tracks dont include this...and no way to get it until after you get home, and even then it later and its wrong, or you go to sleep.

i have a system for this. i get on my computer and go to this websie that has archives of the weather.. this weaher station checks conditions every minute and stores it epping,nh ( where my track is) like every other town in america has this info. and i match up the time on my slip too the site and that gives me my temp, humdity, and baro.. now i know the alt. of my track is 90 ft. and this is on the track website.. then i go too modular depot and use there DA calculator and get a DA number.

60 fts aren't really going to change with DA. get the 60s down and the rest is shift points.

I started launching at 3K intead of 4 and my 60 fts dropped down to 1.9. The car still bogs at first but it doesn't spin as bad, this is on Nitto DR's
